CONCEPT UI DESIGN

In a remote based collaboration with Detroit based studio Lunar North, we developed the concept UI interface for a promotional platform for Chevrolet.
This consisted of two interactive screens, to help users select their cars based on their lifestyles.

INTERACTION SCREEN

The left side of the screen, oriented vertically, is used as the main peer of interaction for the platform.
Here, the user can select a number of filters in a drag-and-drop fashion, based on the data collected, the other side of the screen would recommend a few Cars, Trucks or SUV's that would best suit the user.

Design-wise, the brand guidelines had to be followed, using its typeface and its brand colors needed to be used.
The short range of colors allowed provided the necessary contrast and harmony to create a balanced UI. As per the agency involved, the use of circular shapes was demanded.

DATA SCREEN

The right side of the table will portray a number of 3D Printed models of the available vehicles.
Underneath there is a certain level of interaction where the user can get further data on the selected vehicle. At this stage we were unaware of the number of vehicles or their orientation on top of the screen making the development process slightly more complicated. However, conceptually we tried several logical options.

Overall the look and feel of this side of the screen is meant to be more futuristic and have a touch of technology mood to it.
